Our initial cat behaviour assessment is a comprehensive consultation designed to understand what may be contributing to your cat’s behaviour and create an individualized plan to help your cat feel safer, more comfortable, and better supported in their environment. We’ll look at your cat’s behaviour history, daily routine, household environment, enrichment, relationships with people and other animals, and any relevant medical considerations. Particular attention is given to feline-specific concerns such as litter box management, territory, resource distribution, household layout, multi-cat relationships, scratching, environmental enrichment, and stress reduction. When helpful, we can also create a household map to identify environmental factors that may be influencing your cat’s behaviour.

You’ll leave with practical management and safety strategies, initial behaviour modification exercises, realistic expectations, and clear next steps. Following the assessment, you’ll receive a personalized behaviour plan outlining your cat’s goals, management strategies, training or behaviour exercises, enrichment and environmental recommendations, routine suggestions, and any relevant product or veterinary recommendations.

One week of email support is also included for clarification questions, homework guidance, and progress updates.
